On the last day of the technical study tour (17 June 2022) to Tunisia, Eng. Sami Marrouki: vice president of the Tunisian cluster for renewable energy and energy efficiency TuniCREEE gave a presentation to the Egyptian delegates briefing them about the role of the solar market. Then Mr. Karem Belkheria: Vice President of the Trade Union Chamber of Photovoltaic (CSPV) presented an elaborative presentation tackling the role of CSPV in the solar market – its activities and services offered to its members. After that Dr. Abdelhak Khemiri and Sohail Kosory gave presentations about designs of different applications of installed Solar Water Heater systems. Presentation generated about the market size of the Solar Water Heater in Egypt was explained and presented by Dr. Ahmed Yahia from Chemonics Egypt. Finally, at the end of the day business to business meetings between the Egyptian and Tunisian suppliers and manufactures of the solar water heaters were conducted for establishing solid networks and building bridges between them.
The last day of the of the technical study tour to Tunisia came to an end with a closing speech delivered by Dr. Gihan Bayoumi program officer at United Nations Industrial Development Organization “UNIDO”, Mr. Mohamed Abd El Karim Executive Director Industrial Modernization Centre “IMC”, Mr. Ehab Ismail vice president of the New and Renewable Energy Authority “NREA”, Mr. Ahmed Reda Assistant of Minister in The Ministry of Trade and Industry “MTI” and Mr Fethi Hanchi General Manager of National Agency for Energy Conservation “ANME”
