The Fifth and Last Day of the Tunisian Delegation’s Visit to Egypt

On the fifth and last day of the Tunisian delegation’s visit to Egypt (29-09-2022), the delegates visited “The Egyptian Solar Energy System Company” that’s located in the 6th of October. The delegates were led by Eng.Fathy El-Hanchi, the General Manager of the National Agency for Energy Conservation (ANME) in Tunisia. During that visit, the Tunisian delegates shared the best practices for manufacturing Solar Water Heaters (SWH) and how the SWH market successfully evolved in Tunisia midst the available enabling environment. The hosting manufacturing enterprise had its available SWH components presented by Eng.Samir Sobhy the Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors. Discussions around potential collaborations and how locally manufacturing SWH systems in Egypt may evolve were made. The hosting manufacturing enterprise gave the Tunisian delegates a tour around the premises. The visit was concluded as Eng.Samir Sobhy & Eng.Mark Samir Sobhy explained the manufacturing enterprise’s vision to perpetuate the evolvement of the SWH’s company.
The Tunisian delegates afterwards proceeded to visit The “Egypt National Cleaner Production Center – ENCPC” and meet Eng.Ahmed Reda the Associate Minister for Industrial Affairs at the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) the supervisor of the MTI’s technology centers and Eng.Mohamed Sabry the Deputy Director at ENCPC. As all attending parties are cognizant of the clean energy transition’s salience, ENCPC presented a thorough explanation of the services they offer and potential partnerships were discussed.
