The Second Day of The Tunisian Delegation’s Visit

On the second day of the Tunisian delegation’s visit, that’s led by Eng. Fathy Al- Hanchi, the general manager of the national agency for energy conservation (ANME). A visit was paid to the reputable and renown home appliances manufacturer in Egypt “Fresh” under the supervision of UNIDO. Fresh and the Tunisian delegation discussed potential collaboration in the field of manufacturing solar water heating systems in Egypt.
After a successful B2B meeting, “Fresh” gave the Tunisian delegation a tour within its manufacturing enterprise. “Fresh” explained the manufacturing company’s vision to penetrate the solar water heating market in Egypt. Both parties investigated their potential chances of exporting to Africa and Europe. After that as a form of extension and sustenance of the Tunisian study tour that took place last June and the B2B meetings between the Egyptian and Tunisian suppliers, the tunisian delegates had the chance to meet individually with 5 Egyptian solar water heating systems suppliers and system integrators. The meetings led to fruitful round table discussions amongst the present parties to investigate potential cooperation to offer world class solar water heaters in the Egyptian market.
